This course will cover the basics of mitigation planning for local communities. Participants may register for in-person or virtual attendance. Attendees will learn about the planning process, assessing risks, and developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies. This course is updated to reflect new guidance, resources, and materials related to the 2022 Local Mitigation Planning Policy Guide.
This workshop is for local community officials, emergency managers, planners, and other partners in hazard mitigation planning.
